Week 12: 2 MONTHS?!?

I can't believe it's already been two months. It feels like yesterday I came into the MTC. Wow. All I can say is it's been great I think Heavenly Father has a sense of humor because my first transfer, I've had 2 baptisms and I got evicted. So there are definitely ups and downs. Buts it's all on your outlook on them! ❤

Monday we stayed at the church and did just a zonestrict p day. Our zone is so small it's also our district. Haha! After p day we went and saw one of our new converts and we talked to her about family history. She loved it! Then we started talking about the history of polygamy. It was really cool and the spirit was there!

Tuesday we had zone conference! It was the last zone conference with president Dymock! Sad! It was so powerful the spirit was so thick in that room! We then all pitched in and got them a picture of the temple with all of the missionaries faces. It was so cool! They said the company who made it literally got bankrupted because of it! Haha! Then later there was a state activity days camp all about missionary work. So we got to go to that, and chat with some of the girls about missions! One girl asked if we have birthday parties on our birthday! Haha sorry!

Wednesday we went to the food bank and helped pack cat and dog food. It was really fun, I smelled like cat and dog the rest of the day. Then I got a text from Sister Banks saying that I got  a package, so we went to the mission office. I opened it up and it was so cute! It was all 4th of July decorations! It was really fun! There was glitter everywhere and still is. Haha! We went to Elder and Sister Thacker for dinner with sister Brandow and Eubanks (the ones that we live with also) They had the yummiest lasagna ever! She also made this fancy cheesecake brownie dessert. It was soooo good.

So Thursday we got permission to officially move in. So we organized our room and all our food. And while we were organizing our room, the sisters were decorating the place! It was so cute and fun and I loved it! We then had weekly planning.

Friday we had service at the seventh day Adventist church at there community garden. Then we had exchanges and I went with sister Vance to Liberty Lake. I got to drive! It has been a while since I have driven so it felt really good. 😁 we saw one of their potential investigators that her grandson is on a mission. She said she wasn't a member yet😁  Haha! Yes! We then had dinner at one of their bishops house, which was interesting. The dinner was yummy. We had Ice cream yum! Then we went to another bishops house to talk to him about what families they could see or streets they could tract. Then his son that nearly got from his mission two days before. He was talking to us asking questions. He was really nice. Then they gave us ice cream double yum!

Saturday we got to go to a different food bank. We got lost on the way so we were a little bit late. We help stack cans and different food. We then went to get some lunch and exchanged back. We went home did companion study and I left my bag at Liberty Lake so we drove back there. Haha!

Sunday was my 2 month mark in the field! Time flies! That morning we had East Valley ward counsel which was good. Then we went to church and Sister Whitmer's back has hurting so bad we had to get up during sacrament and walk around for a minute. I felt so bad. We had a recently married couple bring there neighbor to church, and she loved it! It's so funny, they were both missionaries and they still act like they are! It's so cute! We then had stake correlation with the stake president and president Dymock. It was really cool. We then went to a members house for dinner who they just dropped her daughter off at the MTC and she was asking us a bunch of questions. Which I don't blame, but her we just had to go! We then rushed home and had our personal study. That night sister Whitmer had a head ache and it kept on getting worse. She was so sick she went to get up to go to the bathroom she got lightheaded and just laid in the hallway. We called sister Wilcox (the mission nurse) and asked about it. We had some elders come over and give her a priesthood blessing. Then this morning she felt fine. It was really cool to see!

Love ya lots!
