Monday was transfer call day! I stayed with sister Hawkins in East Valley and Newman Lake! Yay! We had a zone p day. After that we got our new bunk beds set up so we don't have a mega bed in our living room! Haha! We then went to see this part member family. The mom isn't a member and the dad is less active. We stoped by said Hi!
Tuesday was a service filled day! Haha! My favorite kind of day! We went and helped this lady trim her bush with the Elders. They then taught her the restoration and she loved it! She said it all makes sense! Haha! Then we helped the Elders move some hay! Haha! We got to feed some llamas! Haha! They also had a turtle that knew her name and came running when you called it. Then we got a referral for a less active member and he want to get back to church! Yay! Then we went to the McComb's for dinner! Haha! Then we had coordination.
Wednesday we had district council before the end of the transfer. We then went the Bree's. She is a non member but her boyfriend is a member. She just needed someone to talk to. We then taught her the restoration and she loved it! They live in a cute little cabin by the lake! It was so cute! Then we went to Newman Lake coordination and after we did splits, and I went with the relief society counselor and we saw some less active families.
Thursday was transfers and they asked us to take a sister for the day. We took sister Rugg. We went to see people at the cherry st apartments. We saw this less active, Steve. We talked to him and invited him to church. Then we went to see some other people.
Friday we had weekly planing. But we did it in a hammock! At the church! Haha! We then we went tracting. My favorite! Haha! Then we went to this really cute old restaurant and the food was cheap so Yay!
Saturday our phones started being weird and we got the Spanish elders schedule. Haha! We were trying to fix it but alas, it's still not working. Then we went to Payge's, a recent converts wedding reception. We went with the McComb's. Haha! It was really nice. After they gave us Pb&J's to go. Haha! They are the sweetest people ever!!!
Sunday we had one person come to church! We invited 5. Haha! Church is one of those things. Haha! Then Brother McComb's asked if we would go see this house. We did. and it was this part member family. She is not a member but wants to come to church with her kiddos! Yay!
This week has been fun. A lot of blessings we have noticed. I have been studying the Savior and his atonment. It's amazing to think that he suffered for you, then he died for you, and he lives, for YOU. I love the Savior and all that he has done and continues to do. I know that he lives and loves each of us. His sacrifice means the world to me and it makes my day a little better. Love you all and I hope you had a good holiday weekend!
Us trying to be better at pictures. Haha!
