June 17 2019: Transfers!!!

Hello! Transfer call were today and I am staying in Cheney and my new companion will be Sister Hailstone! I served around her in Hayden and she is the cutest and we will have a lot of fun together! Haha! It's sad to see Sister Bowler go though, we had a lot of good times! I hope everyone's Fathers Day was good! I got to call my Daddy! That was so fun! We had someone drop us off a roast for dinner so we put some chairs out side and some good gospel music and had a picnic! We had a good Father's Day!

We are teaching this guy named Bryan. He is a really cool guy! He played his drums for us and it was so cool! During one of our lessons however his neck was hurting so he asked if we could end early. We said sure and the next thing I know he asked the fellowship if he could hold his neck while he put pressure on it. Well, he was holding his neck, they were both standing up and then he puts his weight down and it looks like the member is choking him! It was so bad! Haha! Then cars kept on driving by and we're just watching this all go down trying not to laugh. It was too good!
We got to go down to this little town called Sprague. It is a cute little town with 1 grocery store and 1 gas station. Not many people live there but we did find Tanya. She is a sweet lady that wants to come to church! We are hopefully going to go back soon so we can start teaching her. It'll be great!

We also got to help in Medical Lake for Founders Day! They were having a triathlon and we got to help marking people's arms with the numbers. We also cut up fruit for them. It was great! Haha!

Well, I hope you all have a really good week! This week was full of adventures! I am so thankful that we have an amazing Father in Heaven that loves us all so much! He wants the best for us! Hope you have a great week! Bye!

June 3, 2019: Summer is here!

Hello! This week has been quite eventful! Haha! We had Lloyd's baptism this week! It was so cool! He is an amazing person and was so ready for the gospel. I need to explain why he is so awesome. He grew up atheist and was curious about God. Anyway long story short. The sisters called him randomly one day and he said he would love to meet with missionaries. We taught him and he was baptized and now he is trying to help his family come closer to God! He loves the gospel so much and it's so cool to see! Honestly I can say that it was so powerful when he bore his testimony, he said he had never felt like this before and how amazing it is! He's just so awesome!

On Wednesday this week it was so weird everyone came up to us and said hi. We had a lot of good conversations. It was really neat! Even these 2 random jr high girls came up to us after we had knocked on this door and they said how we are so brave to do that because a serial killer could've lived there! Haha!

This week we also had zone conference, that is always so powerful and uplifting. I love when all the Missionaries sing, it's so powerful and strong. The Thackers are leaving this next week and it so sad! I may have cried, like a lot. I'm just gonna miss them so much! They are the sweetest people on earth!

We met this really neet lady this week. We knocked on her door and she was already heading out side to spray paint. We talked with her while she painted. She has been through a lot she was telling us her life story and how God has helped her through it all. We had to go but she gave us her painting that she did and we took pictures with it. Later during the week we stopped by her again and she had a kitten! We played with it while she painted and we talked some more. Her roommate then came out and he is deaf. So sister Bowler kind of talked to him in sign language which was pretty cool.

We also found a Caterpillar and we named him Drake. Don't worry we found a good tree to put him in! Haha! Another funny story, so sister Bowler and I were laying on the floor and we see this big spider on the roof. We starting screaming then we see another one. We start try to killing them while freaking out. Haha! Sisters 1 spiders 0. Haha!

Well, I hope you all have a good week! Stay cool in the heat! Haha! We have been trying to! I know that God lives and he touches people through the spirit. I saw that with Lloyd. I know that he lives and loves us!

Love you all!
