December 31, 2018: Toilets? Clogged ? What?

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were pretty fun. We went to members homes and played card games. It was super fun! Tuesday we went on exchanges. I went with sister Ibarra to Davenport. It was super fun! It snowed like crazy so we walked in the snow knocking on doors. We then went to the Christansens to say hi. Thursday we helped this lady shovel her driveway. She was very thankful so that was fun. Friday we had District meeting and before that Sister Arrington had her exit interview with president. So he came and talked to her about going home. It was really sad.  We then had district meeting and I gave a training on zone conference. That was really interesting.

OK Saturday was the best day by far...

So we go down to Ritzville and see our people. We go see Lucresia. She has had a hard life and she loves Jesus Christ. She was upset and we gave her a hug and showed her a Christ video. She starts crying and she whispers," I'm gonna do it." We were like what? Then she pulls this big ol jar of green leafy stuff. Took me a minute to realize what it was because I had never seen weed before in my life! She pulls out her weed. She says follow me. So we do. We go to her bathroom and she starts dumping her weed into the toilet and keeps flushing it. We are cheering her on supporting her. Then Sister Arrington looks down and gives me a funny look. I look down and that poor toilet was not handling all the weed and it got clogged. She keeps flushing it and it almost pours over. She then goes, "well I tried."  She grabs a bucket and a strainer to get the weed out. But she gave up on the strainer and starts grabbing it with her hands. There was the green leafy stuff all over! On the floor on her hands etc... She them dumps it in the garbage. Then gives us big ol nasty toilet-water-weed-hands. ew! Haha! It was the best thing thats happend in Ritzville. Haha!

Anyway we got transfer calls this morning and I'm going to the Lake city and Dalton Gardens wards. It's somewhere in Idaho not sure where but I'm excited. This area is getting new missionaries. Don't know who they will be but they will have adventures thats for sure!

Decemebr 24th, 2018: Caroling!

So this week has been quite boring. 😐
It has also flown by so fast! Ahhhhhh! And its Christmas eve! Haha!

Last Monday we decorated gingerbread houses with our district. The sides on out house broke so we didn't put them on and now we have a gingerbread car port! Haha!

We also went caroling a couple of times this week and it has been really fun! One lady was trying to handle her big dog and while we were singing joy to the world this lady back kicks her dog down stairs and says it's not very joyful right now. It was hilarious! I was dying! The dog was fine it just wanted to book it outside. Haha!

So when we ran over the coyote we had to make an car accident report from online and it was 8 at night and we were both done and we came up with some interesting stories about what happened. Haha! But we've been making dead coyote jokes and it's kinda bad. He's probably looking down at us like really guys...

We also made a 12 days of Christmas song...
On the first day of Christmas my mission gave to me a
personal testimony
2 awesome sisters
3 hours of church
4 seasons
5 District MEETINGS!
6 Christmas trees 😉
7 is perfection
8 hours of sleeping
9 months I'm halfway!
10 hours of service
11 past out bed time
12 tribes of isreal

Hope you liked it😆

Sunday is snowed! We went to go pick Tom up for church and while we were waiting for him to get his dogs and get dressed I made a big snowball! I took some pics and yes I am a child at heart❤. Haha!

Also this we watched  church Christmas videos and I just started to cry! I couldn't stop the tears! Haha! It was so funny! I'll put the link to the video that I cried at because it's just so good! Haha!

I am just so thankful for this Christmas season. I know that christ was born so we could live again with our families forever. I love this gospel and the comfort it gives me. It gives light to a very dark world and light always overpowers dark and I'm so thankful for that. I love it so much! I hope you all have a good Christmas and a happy new year! Love you!

December 17

So a couple of things happened this week. Haha!

So this week I decided to open one of our drawers that had a mouse trap in it and I looked and there was literally a dead mouse in our kitchen drawer.(I may or may not have dropped everything I had in my hands and screamed and ran into the closet like a little girl🤣) It was laying on its back and when I went to pick it up it's back side just fell apart. It stunk so bad. We dont know how long it was there for but it was probably there for a couple of days and it was starting to liquefy. I put a couple if disinfectant wipes and a couple of plastic bags on it and sister Arrington scooped up the rest of it. It was so nasty... ew.

Another thing so we were at the food bank right and this lady goes oh it's the sisters! She gives us a big hug and she tells us that her fiance is a member and when they get married she can get baptized. She said that her mom loves the missionaries too and we said we would go over there. She tells us that she lives her life like Joseph Smith would, then she begins to take all the coffee logo shirts. Haha! Later we go visit her mom and she is obviously doing weed and other drugs. She is the sweetest person ever though! She is living with this less active member that took her In when she didn't have anywhere else to go. She also has her fiance living with her. They have countless cats in there house. It's kinda gross. Anyway there was this picture of Albert einstein on the wall and sister Arrington complimented on and she begins to tell us that it's an original from Leonardo Davinci... just think about that... although she came to the Christmas party and loved it and also came to church with us. That shows more commitment than all our other people.

Tuesday we had zone conference and elder Whiting one of the 70 came and he talked to us and it was so amazing! I loved it!

Davenport we had the Christmas party and it was journey the Bethlehem. Everyone dressed up as if we were there during christ's birth. Tom came, and Essie came also! She brought her husband Morey. Then this former that we also invited showed up with her mom and 2 teenage kids! What?! That never happens! Haha! We had 7 people come to that! It was way cool!

We were walking around in Harrington to fund some people. While we were walking this cute little kitten come up and starts following us it was so cute! We named it baby because we held it like it was a baby. Haha! We then were walking the town area and literally no one was there but we passed 2 vending machines and thought well we need a soda. Anyway I realized I didn't have any quarters with me so I was so desperately trying to put in all my change in. Sister Arrington loaned my a couple of dimes and I finally had enough! Well as I pushed the button for my coke all the change come back. I stepped back and thought all that hard work for nothing. Then I put the change in the other one and it worked so I got my coke. Haha! As we were walking back to our car we see this lady outside. We say hi and she starts talking to us. She said she's been studying with the Jehovah's witnesses and really likes them. She then began to tell us her whole life story and how her husband was saved. It was really interesting when we leaving she told us to go back! Wow! That never happens! Haha! Then we went home. But it was a pretty interesting day. Haha!
Last night as we were driving home from Ritzville which is 1 hour drive of wheat fields. All the sudden something starts running across the street and there was no time to stop so we hit this Coyote. I started to scream and covered my eyes. We hit it. Sister Arrington pulled over to see if there was any damage. There was just a little bit but we went back and it was laying there with the guts everywhere. It was so nasty. I felt so bad for it! Haha!

Well that was my week! Christmas is in 8 days and I'm so excited! Yay! Christmas season is the best season ever! Pday next week starts at 1 or 2 because its Christmas eve! Yay!

I have a testimony of christ. I know that he lives and loves us. I know that he is here for us all we have to do is ask. He gives us trials so we may learn from them. I love this gospel and the prophet, President Nelson I know that he helps us through Jesus Christ. I love him so much!

Christmas Season!

Hello! My week this past week has not been to bad! It was actually really fun and interesting.

for Pday last week we got to go to down town! We also went to this really cute Christmas store that had a bunch of glass ornaments but they were all so expensive. We also went to go see mark. He was very nice but he was also sick so we didn't talk much. But, he did say that we are helping him a little bit. This week the members who bought our tree put it up in our house. We decorated it and it was so cute! We went down to Ritzville and saw Joan. She was sick so she didn't want to get us sick so we only talked to her for a brief moment. We also wandered around for 2 hours knocking on doors and everybody knew who we were and they weren't interested! We went to go Gary. Gary is an interesting guy in Ritzville. We talked to him on his doorstep for about 15 min about church and when we left we smelled like weed! It was so bad! We couldn't get the smell off! haha!

Wednesday night we were walking around at 5 pm in the dark like good missionaries. We talked to this guy and apparently he is a member who just moved in the area. He was walking to his car and we talked to him then this police car pulls up and yells at the guy for his name. We didnt know what to do so we just started to walk away. It was so awkward we didn't know what to do. So we just walked away. Ritzville has nice houses and most of them are decorated. They are really neat. Its nice to see all of them. They all are so pretty. Friday night we went to Davenport white elephant gift exchange party for adults. So while we were playing these 2 sisters had the same number to pick their gift. One of them is this sweet older lady. As the other lady starts rock paper scissors the older one looked confused and strait up flipped her off. As soon as she did that everyone started laughing so hard they were crying. The older lady simply smiled and picked the next gift. The one who was the victim couldn't keep it together and she was laughing so hard. Many tears were shed. It was the funniest thing ever! We couldn't stop laughing! Haha! Branch Christmas parties get a little crazy. It's safe to say that no one will be playing Rock paper scissors again. Haha! Then on Saturday we got to go volunteer at Silver Lakes Christmas festival. It's this big thing where everyone dresses up from Whoville and there is a parade. The first hour and a half we sat there while the lady tried to find something for us to do. Then she told us to follow her, and she gave us a sign and we got to be in the parade! We were holding the sign for Santa royalty. It was way fun! Then we got to stand by a fire and watch it. We smell like campfire now and can't seem to get rid of it. It's kinda nasty.

Well, that was my week! I can't wait for Christmas it's going to be so good! Love love LOVE it!

Christmas tree!!!
In the parade!
