I hope everyone has an amazing 4th of July this week! I can't believe it's already July! I feel like the month of June went by so fast!

This week has been an exciting one! President and Sister Dymock left on Saturday and President and Sister Thompson, our new mission president and wife arrived the same day with their 4 kids! Then there will be a what we are calling: "mission tour with the Thompsons" where they are coming to each of our area's and we get to know them and they introduce themselves!

Well, Monday was a blast! It was also very interesting. That morning we get a call from the Elders to come to Ihop. One of them got ET'ed (emergency transfers) and they wouldn't tell us who! We got to Ihop and they told us three of them were getting transfered and one was staying and training. We all started writing in transfer journals and talking. As we were  about to get in the car, they told it was all a lie and that only one of them was getting ET. We were so upset! They thought it was hilarious.

We went to Couer D' Alene and it is so pretty! One of my favorite parts was when we got gooey's at the resort! If you dont know what a gooey is, its a ginormaus cup of yummy goodness! It was so big that sister Whitmer and I got one to share! After we walked around, did a little shopping and then went and saw the Lake! (Gorgeous!!)

Tuesday we went to the mission home because a couple of days earlier Sister Call had accidentally washed her temple recommend. oops! We went and Sister Call had her temple recommend interview and sister Dymock needed some help so we helped her clean the mission home. It was fun, we organized the plates in the china closet. And I helped organize where everything should go like pots and pans, etc. We went and saw a potential investigator that we met at the ward BBQ. Shes moving so we helped her a little bit. She had the fattest cat I have ever seen! It was a real life Garfield! We then went to Dee's to see another Investigator that we help a lot. She's awesome though. She gave us some skirts that were not missionary friendly and we didn't want to seem rude so we took them anyway. Then a member brought pizza to our place because she forgot that she was feeding us that day! We then went in our apartment put on the restoration movie and ate pizza! It was really fun!

Wednesday we went to Food for Thought. We bagged dog and cat food. After that we smelled like it. Which is always fun. We then invited the sisters from our apartment to go to Costa Vida with us. It was fun. There was this just returned missionary who had not been set apart yet and she talked to us for a while. It was really cool. That night for dinner we went to a members house and they fed us spaghetti. We then went to Newman Lake correlation. We took a sister who just put her papers in and we took her to Nancy's, a recent convert, and did some visits. It was cool, we got to tell her our scripture marking system and talked about missions.

Thursday morning we thought we had bed bugs again. So we rushed to the mission office and they checked and we didn't, thankfully. (BLESSINGS!) They gave us some mattress covers to help with that so hopefully we won't get them anymore. Then after all that we had weekly planning. Weekly planning is my favorite. You receive so much revelation for your investigators. I'm so grateful for that. We then got to take Sherri, a recent convert, to the temple! It was so amazing! She had a boot on her foot but she took it off for the baptisms. It was so spiritual. We were all crying the spirit was so strong. We walked out the temple and we took a picture. I can't even begin to tell you how I felt. All I can say is that the spirit was so strong!  And after she said, I love that. I love that we get to help people. Then she told us her daughter is joining too. We were so happy. As we were driving home we cried happy tears because we knew that Heavenly Father was so proud of her and loved her.

Friday we went to the food bank to help with packing food for seniors who can't get food for themselves. We then had district meeting and afterwards we went home to do companion study but Sister Whitmer started to not feel good and started getting really sick, so we called Sister Wilcox, the mission nurse, and she said just to sleep it off. So unfortunately, that was the end of our day.

Saturday we got a new mission president! It will be a change but it will be good! We went and saw some investigators and none of them were home! We also went to the mission office and forgot they weren't usually open on Saturday's but we forgot because there were so many cars there. So, we stopped in to get some Book of Mormons and apparently they were open for the new mission president and we just missed him! After some studies, we  went to dinner at a members house and we had spaghetti with yummy homemade bread. I can't tell you how many times I have had spaghetti this week. Afterwards, we went to go see some potentials and we went to our old apartment complex and we knocked on the door and they opened the door and it was our old landlord that evicted us. He was really nice though and a Holly did not live there! Haha oops!

Sunday was fast and testimony meeting. I love fast Sunday's as a missionary! It's a joy because we are encouraged to bear our testimony every month. And my testimony is constantly growing! We then went to a member's house for dinner and we had ravioli. Then we came home and did companion study and some online proselyting! The elders gave us referal for Newman Lake!!! Wahoo!!! We were so excited about that., We can't wait to meet her!

This week has been amazing. I have felt the spirit so strong this week. I'm so grateful for our Savior and all that he has done for me.

Have an amazing week!

Love,
Sister Call

Transfers are so stressful. They are not my favorite. I think I just need to get used to them. Sister Hawkins is amazing we are getting along so far😂 She is an amazing missionary and a hard worker so I am very excited!

Monday morning we found out our transfer calls. I got to stay for another transfer and my new companion is sister Hawkins. Then we found out the valley zone and the east Spokane zone were combined. Apparently President Thompson is changing a whole lot!!! Someone was saying he pulled a president Nelson! Haha! For our last P day as a zonestrict we bought water balloons and had a water balloon fight! It was so fun! Sister Haight  bought whipped cream and we flung it in the air and tried to catch with our mouths. It was really funny! We got spool sticky! After P day we went to Payges. We talked to her about the temple and her wedding! Yay! After that we had sister Lovig and Sister Nance stay with us. Sister Nance was going home so sister Lovig needed a companion. So they stayed with us.

Tuesday Morning we dropped sister Nance and we had sister Lovig with us. Then sister Snaw needed a companion so we picked her up too!  We all went to Sherri s house with Dee to have a Book of Mormon read with her. We were reading it and the spirit was so strong and we asked if she would like to be baptized and she said Yes! She said it's time. She picked out the date July 28. We were all crying it was such a sweet experience. Then we went to Sister Pinsons for dinner then east valley Coordination. We then went home and started planning Dee`s baptism.

Wednesday we had sister Snow and Lovig stay stay with us. We also had sister McNight stay too. We had 7 sisters and 1 bathroom. It was nuts! Sister Lovig came with me while sister Snow went with sister Whitmer to the dentist. We had district meeting then a lady asked if we could put cards together and help her. We did for a minute. We went to go back to the apartment but we didn't have keys so we went to the mission office! It was fun eating cookies while studying. The mission office is the best. Then we had dinner at a members house. They were so kind to feed all 4 of us! Haha! We then went to Newman Lake ward council. We were late so we talked while they were leaving. I feel like missionaries are always late. Haha!

Thursday sister Whitmer packed and we all headed to the transfer sight. I got there and apparently the the missionary training was going on so there was trainee's who needed a Companion! And guess who got 2 of them! That's right we did! Haha! I then met sister Hawkins and we drove back to the apartment and we helped her unpack. Then we had companion study. We then split up and went tracting. We then went back to drop off the trainees with their trainers.  We picked up sister Snow and her companion and we went to Wal-Mart. We shopped and when we came back someone had hit the front of our car and left a note! We got home called him and got everything figured out.

Friday was a training so we took in a sister. We went to get our car looked at to see how bad the damage but it wasn't too bad. We went to help a lady pack her China cabinet. She was really nice. We then went to dinner with members and they took us out to red robins. They were really sweet. We then went to the church and planned more for Dee's baptism. Then we went home and did companion study.

Saturday we had weekly planning. We planned more of Dee's baptism. We went to a members house for dinner. They had a bigger family and they were so sweet. We went to Dee's and taught her a lesson. That woman can talk! It's so funny! L love her so much though. I feel that she is ready we just need to help prepare her.

Sunday we went to church and introduced everyone to Sister Hawkins. I think she's exactly what this area needed. We then went to dinner at the Wrights they always make good food. We then went tracting. We met Steve! He used to see the missionaries but he said they stopped going over to his house! We said we could come back and teach him again and he said he would like that. Yay!  Then we came home and had companion study.
